Surgeons' Hall Complex - a unique venue

Located on the campus of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Surgeons’ Hall Complex contains a range of venues divided into four distinct areas – Surgeons Hall, Quincentenary Hall, Symposium Hall and Ten Hill Place Hotel. Surgeons' Hall

Built in 1832 and consisting of a main hall and eight meeting rooms, this flagship building contains rooms of grandeur, tastefully and cleverly modified to incorporate up-to-date technology. From a gala dinner for up to 175 people to a video conference for four people, the building is suitable for a wide range of events.

Located within Surgeons’ Hall, the museums of surgery and dental surgery house collections of international importance, and will fascinate medical and lay people alike. The museums, recently awarded four stars as a visitor attraction by Visit Scotland, are not to be missed by anyone visiting Surgeons’ Hall Complex.

Quincentenary Hall

A beautiful modern building adjacent to historic Surgeons’ Hall, the original stonework has been retained and blended with a modern design of granite and steel, creating a wonderful combination of old and new. Quincentenary Hall includes a large main hall suitable for a multitude of purposes – dinner dances, lectures or exhibitions to name a few. The building also includes three large versatile meeting rooms, a spacious reception area, business centre and supporting facilities.

Symposium Hall

This is a wonderful converted church perfect for lectures, meetings or social events and contains a modern 158 seat auditorium with state-of-the-art AV equipment and an audience voting facility. The reception area provides an ideal area for exhibition stands and the serving of refreshments.

Ten Hill Place Hotel

A modern three star hotel with 78 en-suite twin rooms of an exceptional standard, Ten Hill Place is an ideal location to accommodate your guests, delegates, friends or family. Discounts are available for those attending conferences or social events within the complex. Visitors to the city of Edinburgh are also welcome to stay at the hotel.
